Make the Right Call for your career...

...and take the call that saves a life. Becoming an Emergency Dispatcher means taking on a great responsibility - you won't just be taking calls, you'll be offering support and talking to people in crisis situations every day. It's also one of the most rewarding jobs you can do, because you'll be helping people in your community every day, and be able to look back on your working day and feel proud that you really made a difference - not many people can say that.

Our Emergency Medical Dispatchers are critical in allowing us to provide lifesaving advice and assistance. They're the first point of contact for the public, and they work to prioritise each call, provide first aid and medical advice when necessary, and to liaise continually with the ambulance crew en route to the emergency.
