Could you be a Capital Paramedic?

As a result of additional funding, we are recruiting for qualified paramedics at or above the National Certificate in Ambulance level,  (or equivalent as assessed by Ambulance New Zealand).

Wellington Free Ambulance is passionate about continuing to provide emergency care free to the patient. So much so that we are committed to working towards having an intensive care paramedic and double-crewing in all our vehicles, in order to achieve better patient outcomes.

We have a strong emphasis on continuing education for our paramedics and we operate extensive in-house training programmes to develop and grow the skill levels of all our staff.   If you are a qualified Paramedic with a clean drivers licence and have excellent clinical and patient management skills and are keen to develop these skills further then Wellington Free is the place for you

Please note that assessment centres are held as part of our selection process. These are held on the first Tuesday of every even month, the next ones being 7 October and 9 December 2008.

If you are interested in applying, please send in your covering letter, CV and completed Application Form to work@wfa.org.nz or Wellington Free Ambulance, 19 Davis Street, Thorndon, Wellington.

Our recruitment is ongoing, however closing dates for each assessment centre will be 2 weeks prior.
