Wellington Free Ambulance have a great opportunity for you to gain valuable on-the-job experience whilst you complete your paramedic qualifications. We are now looking for Intern Paramedics for the Greater Wellington Region including the Wairarapa, who will assist with patient care as directed and supervised by a fully qualified paramedic at all times.

In order to apply you must be in the final year of your BHSc (Paramedic) or be enrolled in the National Diploma of Ambulance

You must also:

• Have a current, clean driver's licence

• Have completed a defensive driving course within the last 3 years or be prepared to complete one prior to being offered an Intern position

• Be physically fit for lifting

• Have excellent communication skills and able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds

The Assessment Centre day is to be held at the Porirua Ambulance Station, 8 Awatea Street, Porirua on Friday 27th April 2012.
